Honoring past, present and future heroes. The Helping Heroes Help Others Luncheon brings the passionate patriots of Quail West together to lift up our veterans, their families and the future heroes of our country.
Gold Star Mother, Kim Hayes, shared her story of loss with hundreds who attended the luncheon. Her son died from invisible wounds incurred from his time in the military. Kim's grandchildren now attend grief support groups at Valerie's House, an organization that helps children heal after a loss, including children of Gold Star families. All proceeds from the luncheon will support the mission of Valerie's House: helping children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives.
